Alexandra Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and the Stock Market from IEB (Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles) in Madrid, as well as an EDP (CAIA) in Hedge Funds from IEB. She also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Business and Economics from SIU Schiller International University, where she received the Velázquez Award for academic excellence, outstanding leadership, and service to the university.

She was born and raised in Colombia, where she completed high school, and she was awarded first place in performing arts and continued her studies IEI at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. With over 19 years of experience in Higher Education and Financial Markets, Alexandra is also an Associate Professor at SIU in International Business, Economics and Finance for UG and PG programs. She is an Invited/adjunct Professor at several Business Schools. She has worked in multinational companies, and non-profit organizations in Spain and Latin America and was the founder of a local company in the insurance market.
