Schiller International University is located at 400 North Tampa. The facility is a 36-story building with the campus located on the 17th floor.
Technology has been installed in the computer lab, and classrooms now have Smartboard functionality. The campus houses a library, student lounge, and various administrative offices.
This campus is accessible to all major highways and public transportation, as well as numerous services, dining options, and recreational facilities. The parking lot provides ample space for vehicles. Tampa International Airport is approximately 15 minutes east of the campus and a bus system links the area’s population centers.

Our Tampa Campus Director, Suheily Martinez is an experienced educational leader with over 16 years in higher education. Suheily holds a Master’s Degree in Education from AGM University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
Active in her community, Suheily has led educational initiatives and received the Prestigio Hispano award for her contributions, volunteers with Grace Family Church and engages in international mission trips.

An international student who wants to study in the United States must acquire an F1 Student Visa prior to entry. In order to obtain this Visa, you must apply for it at the USA Embassy in your country. The form I-20 is a United States Department of Homeland Security document issued by Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) participating schools, certifying that a student has been admitted to a full-time study program and that the student has demonstrated sufficient financial resources (funds for school and living expenses) to stay in the USA.
Schiller International University is licensed by the Department of Homeland Security to issue I-20 forms. Our campus in Tampa has two Designated School Officers (DSOs) – meaning they are authorized by the SEVP to issue I-20 forms. The US Student Visa application process can take up to several months. To see an estimated visa appointment wait times for your country, please visit: Visa Appointment Wait Times (state.gov).
Once you have received your I-20, the DSO will take over and guide you through the visa application process.

Health Care and Health Insurance
The University does not provide any type of insurance coverage for students. Students are encouraged to maintain personal health and accident insurance through an employer or independent provider. Sample websites with different plans that may be available online.

You may want to secure a temporary stay (up to a week) at a short-term facility prior to or upon arriving in Tampa while you visit the local complexes in person before engaging in a lease. Please check the Tampa Campus Student Handbook for more information.

A packing list can help you remember to bring everything you need. Don’t forget to add things to help you feel at home. If your apartment has a kitchen, consider coordinating certain items with roommates to avoid crowding the kitchen with duplicate dishes and appliances.
