The Master’s Degree in Global Trade and Finance is an interdisciplinary program that brings the trade, business and digital worlds together, preparing individuals to apply the principles and processes of export sales, trade controls, foreign operations, inter-country monetary issues, international policy, and applications to doing business in specific countries and markets as well as in the digital world. As Schiller students, they will also acquire intercultural speaking and effective multicultural communication skills, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills, and leadership and global citizenship to lead change towards an ethical and sustainable world.

Graduates of this Master’s Degree in Global Trade and Finance will be able to:
- Demonstrate in-depth discipline knowledge and the ability to synthesize and critically apply this knowledge.
- Critically evaluate contemporary issues and / or insights in the International trade and business world, together with the finance and digital world.
- Discuss, appraise, and propose sound and creative solutions to complex international trade and Global Finance problems.
- Critically evaluate and assess research methods (data collection, analysis, interpretation) to evaluate their own, and other current research and advanced scholarship within the discipline.
- Demonstrate the ability to convincingly communicate research findings and/or decision-making processes, both orally and in writing, to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Demonstrate the acquisition and critical application of transferrable skills for employability, such as multicultural communication, intercultural competency, critical thinking and analysis, and global citizenship, among others.
