Terms & Conditions

  1. Schiller International University reserves the right to change scholarship offerings
    without notice at any time.
  2. Essays and documents submitted must be in English, with minimal spelling or
    grammatical errors and submitted with the application, unless otherwise noted.
  3. Scholarship applications will not be considered without the required documents.
  4. Eligibility for the Global Citizen Scholarship is obtained through satisfactorily submitting an application for admission to Schiller International University along with the additional requested documentation; it is ultimately awarded at the Admissions Committee’s discretion.
  5. Essays submitted for the Global Citizen Scholarship must be the sole work of the applicant and should not be plagiarized or sourced from any AI-generated content. Essays identified as being generated with AI tools will result in disqualification from scholarship consideration.
  6. The Global Citizen Scholarship is valid for the first academic year’s fees (for Bachelor programs) or the total tuition (for Master programs). This scholarship is not compatible with any other scholarship offered by Schiller International University.
  7. Bachelor students may apply to a merit-based scholarship towards the tuition fees for their second academic year onward.
  8. Students who withdraw from the University will automatically lose all scholarship eligibility.
  9. Students who fail to keep up with their scheduled tuition payments, as agreed to in their Enrollment Agreement, would result in possible loss of their scholarship. The Campus Director will maintain final authority on this issue.
  10. Scholarships are limited, and Schiller International University reserves the right to
    suspend or to terminate any and all University sponsored scholarships at any time.
  11. Schiller International University is not responsible for notifying a student when they have regained eligibility.
  12. This scholarship is not available for Distance Learning studies.

Initial Eligibility requirements 
Eligibility for the International Talent Scholarship is obtained through satisfactorily submitting an application for admission to Schiller International University along with the additional requested documentation; it is ultimately awarded at the Admissions Committee’s discretion

  • Undergraduate: Applicable for new students during their first year. Bachelor students may apply to a merit-based scholarship towards the tuition fees for their second academic year onward.
  • Graduate: Applicable on the entire program.

Scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional talent in specific fields, such as arts, sports, sciences, or leadership. 200 words essay explaining the special talent.

Awarded in conjunction with the High School. Students must demonstrate a GPA of 3.3.

Up to 40% in the first year

Terms & Conditions:
The High School Medallion scholarship will be available to all High School students who 
are beginning their undergraduate studies at Schiller International University. This 
scholarship is available for a student’s first academic year, (10 classes/30 credit hours) 
only. The maximum scholarship amount that may be awarded is 40% of tuition. 

  1. High School Medallion scholarships applications will not be considered without
    all other admissions and application documents being submitted.
  2. High School Medallion scholarships will be posted to each student ledger at
    the end of the completion of each eligible semester.
  3. The High School Medallion scholarship is awarded for the first academic year
    (10 classes/30 credit hours) only. After the first academic year, students are
    encouraged to apply for a merit-based scholarship.
  4. Student must enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours for each semester to
    qualify for the High School Medallion scholarship. If a student is unable to
    attend 12 hours in a semester due to transfer credits, or course availability, the
    scholarship will then be awarded on a prorated per credit basis.
  5. Students receiving the High School Medallion Scholarship must demonstrate
    a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.30 when applying for this scholarship.
  6. Schiller International University reserves the right to change this scholarship
    offerings without notice at any time.
  7. Scholarships may not be combined.
  8. Schiller International University reserves the right to change scholarship
    offerings without notice at any time.
  9. Students who withdraw from the University are subject to loss of scholarship
    eligibility.
  10. Any students scheduled to receive a scholarship award must be current on their
    scheduled cash payments, as agreed to in their most recent Award Letter.
  11. Students who fail to keep up with their scheduled tuition payments, as agreed to in their Enrollment Agreement, would result in possible loss of their scholarship. The Campus Director will maintain final authority on this issue.
  12. The High School Medallion scholarship is limited. Schiller International University
    reserves the right to discontinue all University scholarships at any time. Applications will be reviewed on a first come first served basis.
  13. This scholarship is not available for Distance Learning studies.

Up to 25%

Terms & Conditions

  1. The Academic Distinction Scholarship is available to all Schiller International University students who have completed, or are about to complete their first academic year, defined as having completed or are about to complete 10 classes/30 credit hours.
  2. Applicants are required to have and maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average
    (CGPA) of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  3. Students are not required to re-apply for this scholarship once it has been
    awarded unless the student fails to maintain the required CGPA.
  4. If the student’s CGPA falls below the minimum CGPA required for the scholarship, the following terms will apply:
    • Student will not receive the scholarship for their next semester.
    • Student can only re-apply for the scholarship when the required CGPA has been reestablished. The student has seven (7) days in which to reapply from when grades are posted.
    • The granting of a new scholarship is not guaranteed.
    • Schiller International University is not responsible for notifying a student when they have regained eligibility.
  5. Student must enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours for each semester to qualify for course availability, summer scheduling or transfer credit issues, the scholarship will then be awarded on a prorated per credit basis.
  6. Scholarships will be posted to each student ledger at the beginning of each
    eligible semester.
  7. All initial scholarship applications must be received by the start of the semester
    for which they are applying. Late applications will not be processed.
  8. This scholarship may not be combined with another scholarship.
  9. Students who withdraw from the University are subject to loss of scholarship
    eligibility.
  10. Schiller International University reserves the right to discontinue all University
    scholarships at any time.
  11. Applications are limited and will be reviewed on a first come/first served basis.
  12. This scholarship is not available for Distance Learning studies.

  1. The Academic Honors Scholarship is available to all Schiller International University students who have completed, or are about to complete their first academic year, defined as having completed or are about to complete 10 classes/30 credit hours.
  2. Applicants are required to have and maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average
    (CGPA) of 3.60 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
  3. Students are not required to re-apply for this scholarship once it has been awarded unless the student fails to maintain the required CGPA.
  4. If the student’s CGPA falls below the minimum CGPA required for the scholarship, the following terms will apply:
    • Student will not receive the scholarship for their next semester.

Process and procedures for applying for a scholarship

First of all, check the requirements to apply for a scholarship. 

  • You must have received acceptance by our Admissions Team

    We are happy to help you throughout this process. If you have not done so yet, begin the application process here.

  • We will send you a scholarship application form

    Complete the application and send it back to us. Our Scholarship Committee will make a decision.

  • You are almost there

    Once we have accepted your scholarship application, we will send you a scholarship award letter.

  • Congratulations!

    You just have to confirm your acceptance and you are a part of Schiller’s learning community.

THESE PROCEDURES WILL APPLY TO ALL STUDENTS AND ALL SCHOLARSHIPS: 

  • Scholarship applications, essays and supporting documentation should be submitted to the campus to which you are submitting your scholarship application: 
  • International Students’ transcripts will be evaluated by the Registrar on a 4.0 scale to determine CGPA requirements. 
  • All Scholarship applications and essays will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee for that particular campus. 
  • Each campus will notify the student of the approval or denial of their scholarship application. 
  • Students will be notified upon determination of the loss of an award. 
  • Information regarding scholarships are presented on our website or you may inquire at your local campus.
