Our Board of Directors

Mr. Mehta is a Vice President within Finance division at Credit Suisse/ UBS, New York, since 2018 and focuses on the areas concerning regulatory and capital management. Mr. Mehta has 20 years of experience in banking and consulting. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Mehta spent close to a decade at Deloitte in New York where he advised some of the US’ largest banks and financial institutions on a broad array of capital, risk and financial modelling aspects. Mr. Mehta began his career at Goldman Sachs in London, where he covered Market Risk on credit products. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, India, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Indo-German Training Center, India and a MS from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA.

Dr. Muñiz, CEO and President of Schiller INternational University, holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. She has over 20 years of experience in managing positions in multinational companies including those operating in the higher education sector, including positions with Accenture, Laureate, and Morgan Stanley. Dr. Muñiz’s latest positions include Chief Executive Officer of the Garrigues Law & Business School, Dean of Social Sciences & Communication School at Universidad Europea de Madrid, and Director of the IBM Business & Tech School.  Dr. Muñiz has led SIU since 2020, including through the initial accreditation by ACCSC in 2023. Under Dr. Muñiz’s leadership, SIU has seen impressive growth while maintaining its dedication to student-focused service and innovative global educational offerings.

Petros Neocleous joined GBS in November 2021 as the Group CFO tasked with managing the financial relationships with our Regulators ("OfS" and "QAA") and Accrediting Partners. An Economics graduate and an ACA qualified Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, Petros has worked with many large and highly regulated corporations across a wide range of industries (AOL, Time Inc, Royal Bank of Scotland, Direct Line Group), assisting with the growth and restructure of their businesses. His ethos has always been a collaborative one, ensuring that Finance partners with the business in a way that manifests itself across all functions and ensures upmost compliance with stakeholders in the external Higher Education environment. Petros has also led in the integration on schools and businesses acquired by GEDU.

Professor Ray Lloyd is GEDU's Deputy CEO and CEO at GBS with over 25 years’ experience working within Higher Education in the UK and overseas. He was previously Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University and a Head of Department, and then a Dean at Abertay University. Professor Lloyd’s first degree was in mathematics, a subject he taught for several years both in London and Botswana. He returned to the UK in 1996 to undertake a Master’s degree in Sports Science, gaining a PhD in the same discipline. His current portfolio spans the academic life of the University including Research, Academics Partnerships, and Student Support.
