All Knowledge Areas
First, it’s a prime location. At 55 Avenue Hoche, in the 8th arrondissement, the campus is a short walk from one of the most famous monuments in Paris, The Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, right at the Western end of the Champs-Élysées in the heart of Paris. Close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants, this is a perfect location to immerse yourself in the atmosphere, culture, and history of the city of Paris.
Second, its state-of-the-art learning spaces. The project teams worked hard to create a space where students can have the best learning experience. They applied multifunctional details, like moving walls, to create open spaces that can be adapted to specific learning needs and sizes of working groups and equipped every classroom with the latest digital technology. The new campus is spread over three floors. The classrooms are equipped as experiential learning areas that ensure Schiller’s Academic Model is delivered in the most realistic way. In addition, the spaces highlight specific areas where students become active participants rather than passive learners. The campus also has a very cozy library, an independent study room, and plenty of workstations for students and staff to relax or work.
Third, the campus encompasses multidisciplinary learning both in and beyond the classroom to ensure the best student experience. In this project, many teams worked together under the supervision of CAO/Provost Victoria Bamond and COO Esther Rodriguez. And in close coordination with our Campus Director Claire Bourgeois, who pushed them all to get the best for her students.
Aquiles Montas, PMO, lead the whole project and made sure to meet the deadlines and guarantee excellent quality throughout, also working closely with Ismael Fernandez, Head of Educational Technology, in the classroom and spaces design and selection of the furniture best suited to the implementation of the teaching methodology. Alejandro Ortega, from the IT Digital Ecosystems department, ensured the classrooms were designed and equipped with the best digital technology needs. And Pablo Puyol, our Chief Financial Officer, made sure resources were used efficiently.
Late English poet Elizabeth Barret Browning’s quote welcomes visitors to the campus with an inspirational neon, “Eclaire demain avec ajourd’hui”, which means “Light up tomorrow with today”.
